The Essence of Greed

Hello!!! and welcome back to Red Line Review the only place you'll see a man obsessed with his blue baby. Today we are exploring the realm of series, more specifically one of the most critically acclaimed series of all time, ranked #3 on Rolling Stone "Best TV Shows of All Time", with one of the only episodes ranked 10/10 on IMDb it's Breaking bad. I decided to talk about Breaking Bad to follow the trend of favorites, we've done favorite book series, favorite game, and now favorite series.

"Breaking Bad" is a critically acclaimed television series that aired on AMC from 2008 to 2013, it has won a total of 16 Emmys while being nominated for 58. Created by Vince Gilligan, the show tells the story of Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher who, after being diagnosed with cancer, turns to manufacturing and selling methamphetamine to secure his family's financial future. The show's success is largely due to its complex characters, intricate plot, and stunning cinematography. Over the course of its five seasons, Breaking Bad manages to captivate viewers with its unpredictable twists and turns, as well as its exploration of morality and the human condition. Walter White, played brilliantly by Bryan Cranston, is the show's central character. At the beginning of the series, Walter is a mild-mannered chemistry teacher struggling to make ends meet. However, after he is diagnosed with cancer, he decides to use his scientific knowledge to start manufacturing and selling methamphetamine with his former student, Jesse Pinkman (played by Aaron Paul).

As Walter becomes more involved in the drug trade, he begins to change. He becomes increasingly ruthless, manipulative, and violent, all in the name of protecting his family and securing their future. The transformation of Walter White from a sympathetic protagonist to a ruthless antihero is one of the show's most compelling aspects. In addition to Walter, the show boasts a wide range of complex and fascinating characters. Jesse Pinkman, in particular, is a standout. Initially introduced as a small-time drug dealer, Jesse becomes a key player in the meth trade as he teams up with Walter. However, as the series progresses, Jesse struggles with his conscience and the consequences of his actions, ultimately leading to a gripping and emotional conclusion to his character arc. The show's exploration of morality is another key aspect of its success. "Breaking Bad" asks viewers to consider what they would do in Walter's situation, and whether the ends truly justify the means. The show also raises important questions about the drug trade and the impact it has on individuals and society as a whole.

Breaking Bad is known for its stunning cinematography and attention to detail. Through the shows compelling story it has brought some iconic moments such as the "I am the danger" and "where is the money".The show's use of color, symbolism, and visual motifs helps to create a rich and immersive world that draws viewers in and keeps them engaged. Breaking Bad is a groundbreaking television series that set the standard for what television could be. Its complex characters, intricate plot, and stunning cinematography make it a must-watch for anyone interested in exploring the human condition and the morality of our actions. This show follows the rise and fall of a prideful and frail man and the destruction that follows him and engulfs others.
